Sky high tourist spot to view the Kyoto City

This white tower is the symbol of Kyoto, a sky high spot to view the whole of its city. Visitors can see how the city has been planned according to the grid system. A night view will astonish you with the beautifully lit up city. Why not start/finish your Kyoto trip here since it is located right in front of the Kyoto Station.
Tower goes up 131 meter, with the viewing floor for public at 100 meter. It may not sound so tall compared to many of the recently built towers, but this is enough to enjoy this city, from 360 degrees. The free telescopes and the 8 newly installed touch-panelled info monitor will guide you through. This monitor show 180 degrees view, offers various tourist info and comes in English, Chinese and Korean.
There is a Tawawa chan, tower's character, Shrine at the viewing floor. Lucky charm and wooden plague is popular at the shop. You might be able to meet Tawawa chan in live during the weekends!
The sky lounge 'KUU' offers relaxing dining space during the night with exclusive view of the illuminations of the Kyoto Station.
This tower also has spa YUU (open from 7 a.m.), hotel, kimono rental shops and shopping floor, just about everything a tourists want. Kansai Tourist Information Center Kyoto had newly been open on the 3rd floor. If offers guidance, hotel & transport reservation, baggage check and muslim praying space.
In the past 52 years of business, the tower visitors has reached 3 million people. Nonetheless, the tower keeps on upgrading its service to attract more. You can enjoy it the simply beautiful looks from outside, and enjoy the facilities inside.
