Explore the town of Kyoto wearing antique kimono 

 

rents antique kimono produced in the Meiji, Taisho and Showa period (1868-1912, 1912-26 and 1926-89). While many of the rental offices select kimono made of polyester, most of the kimono is made from pure silk here.

The optional bags are mostly antique as well. Footwear and hear dresses has plenty of choices so you can rent a full set here. The shop is located in easy access area of Karasuma, and Kiyomizu which is also easy for tourists to stop by when visiting Yasakajinja, Gion, Kiyomizudera, Ishibekoji and Kodaiji. Each shop has around 300 kimono.
