【9/8】Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto Renewal Open!

Rihga Royal Hotel had an impressive look with it's green walls. This hotel, located at near west from Kyoto Station, is going to be in business again on Thursday September 8th, after 7 months of renovation. 

Their new concept is 'Warm Contemporary Japanese'.

The new exterior has a bamboo-like grids with a touch of kawara-tile look. Inside welcomes the guests first by a Kyoto-style stone path, bamboo bush and lanterns. 

Guest room has increased from 482 to 489. A new premium floor Chikurin no Kazaoto will be open on the 9th floor. A sophisticated premium suites will offer luxurious moment.

Amenities and room interior offers Kyoto's tastes as well, such as bamboo craft maker Kohchosai Kosuga's interior and kiyomizu-yaki style original mug cups.

Variety of rooms includes New Japanese-Style that offers bed with tatami floor and a room that can view the shinkansen train. 

All the rooms offer local spring water which is not only safe to drink but also has a great balance of mineral that is good for washing yourself. They have dug a new well to increase the amount of water.

All Day Dining KAZA will be open on the 1st floor. KAZA is a classic Kyoto word meaning 'flagrance'. The food prepared at the open-live kitchen will be offered in buffet style all day.

On top of the new dining hall, the only 360° revolving restaurant in Kyoto will also be in service from late October.
